Passenger figures - Málaga Airport in October 2020

#Coronavirus - No golden autumn for the airline industry

In October 2020, Málaga Airport registered another big slump regarding airline passengers. A total of 329,337 passengers were counted in Málaga which represents a minus of 82,4 % compared to October 2019. 4,80 million passengers were registered in Málaga from January to October 2020 which equals a decrease of 72,7 % compared to the same period in 2019. 
      
Here, the October figures of 2020 for the remaining Andalusian airports (compared to October 2019):

Sevilla - 157,900 passengers (-77,2 %)?
Jerez de la Frontera - 12,952 passengers (-89,0 %)
?Almeria - 16,474 passengers (-81,1 %)
?Granada - 24,824 passengers (-77,3 %)

 Here, the passenger figures of October 2020 for other Spanish airports (compared to October 2019): 

Palma de Mallorca - 395,337 passengers (-86,5 %)
 ?Ibiza - 150,528 passengers (-78,8 %)  
Valencia - 152,645 passengers (-80,1 %)  
Alicante - 241,178 passengers (-83,1 %) 
?Bilbao - 134,508 passengers (-75,5 %)    ?
Gran Canaria - 303,575 passengers (-72,1 %)     

From January to October 2020 compared to 2019:

Madrid - 15,43 million passengers (-70,4 %)    
Barcelona - 11,86 million passengers (-73,9 %)  
Gran Canaria - 4,48 million passengers (-58,7 %)  
?Palma de Mallorca - 5,66 million passengers (-79,6 %)   

Note: In October 2020, all Spanish Airports combined registered a total of 4,46 million passengers. Considering that 1,72 million of those passengers visited via international routes, the slump amounts to 90,0 % compared to October 2019.
