Temperatures will rise locally above 30 °C

Spring in Spain - Second week of March will be warm

The second week of March 2020 will bring early-summer temperatures to Southern Spain. Malaga (city) is expecting values of +- 25 °C. Mid-week, the temperatures will reach up to 30 °C at the Caminito del Rey and +- 27 °C in Velez-Malaga. The provinces of Huelva and Sevilla are expecting even more than 30 °C. Granada will register peak temperatures of +- 29 °C which will surely affect the snow cover in the Sierra Nevada.

Of course, we cannot forget Murcia where peak temperatures of +- 31 °C have been announced.

Regarding the Balearic Islands, it will be the warmest around Pollenca (Mallorca) with +- 24 °C.

It remains summery warm on the Canary Islands, Gran Canaria will register +- 29 °C throughout the week.
