A stormy weekend for the Canary Islands

Plenty of Saharan dust in addition

A vortex of clouds has reached the Canary Islands. Said vortex will ensure upcoming wind as of Saturday afternoon and squalls of more than 100 km/h on Sunday. Plenty of Saharan dust will be transported in addition, the visibility will be limited to 1,500 - 3,000 metres. The maximum wave height will reach between 4 and 5 metres and the peak temperatures will amount +- 29 °C on Gran Canaria.
