Passenger figures - Malaga Airport in January 2020

Great start to a new record year

Malaga Airport reports another gratifying increase of airline passengers in January 2020. A total of 1,042,347 passengers were welcomed which is a puls of 2,9 % compared to January 2019.

Malaga ranks 4th among Spain's most frequented airports. Madrid leads, followed by Barcelona and Gran Canaria.

Here, the January figures of 2020 for the remaining Andalusian airports (compared to January 2019):

Sevilla - 546,798 passengers +4,7 %
Jerez de la Frontera - 40,599 passengers -8,9 %
Almeria - 31,846 passengers -6,8 %
Granada - 91,620 passengers +1,6 %

Palma de Mallorca - 820,661 passengers -2,2 %
Alicante - 743,713 passengers -5,3 %
Gran Canaria - 1,166,742 passengers -1,2 %
Tenerife-Sur - 949,286 passengers -6,8 %
Lanzarote - 528,733 passengers -7,1 %
Fuerteventura - 419,214 passengers -5,4 %
