European windstorm sweeps across the country

Up to 24 °C after the storm

A European windstorm is currently sweeping across large parts of the country. Biscay reports gusts of up to 145 km/h. Almeria registers up to 107 km/h, Mallorca 80 km/h and Malaga 60 km/h. The buoy of Cabo de Gata measures a maximum wave height of 328 cm, the buoy of Barcelona 361 cm, the buoy of Dragonera (Andratx) 414 cm and Santander 609 cm.

The low will allow mild air to spread in large parts of Spain next week. As of Monday, it will be mostly sunny especially between the Costa del Sol and Valencia with temperatures of up to 24 °C.
