European windstorm sweeping across the country - Update for Sunday

Gale-force winds of 156 km/h in the north

European windstorm Amelie is raging in the north of Spain, gusts of up to 156 km/h have been measured. The buoy of Bilbao reports a wave height of 961 cm, a RED level warning has been issued of course.

Also, the wind is already noticeable in the east and southeast of Spain. Almeria registers gusts of up to 72 km/h and Valencia reports gusts of up to 60 km/h (increasing tendency). The buoy of Cabo de Gata already measures a wave height of 260 cm and the buoy of Cabo de Palos registers 375 cm.
