Stormy beginning of the week on the Balearic Islands

Province of Malaga starts with +- 35 °C

The second week of October will have a stormy start in the northeast of Spain. Gusts of up to 75 km/h have been announced in the province of Girona and between the provinces of Tarragona and Castellon. The waves will be reaching heights of 3 to 4 metres. It will also be uncomfortable on the Balearic Islands, Menorca will be particularly affected by a severe Mistral. The waves will be reaching heights of 4 to 5 metres, gusts of 80 km/h have been announced. However, the storm will abate significantly towards Tuesday.

The week will start much better in the province of Malaga where summer seems never-ending. +- 35 °C have been announced for the Guadalhorce valley, +- 34 °C for Manilva, +- 30 °C for Malaga (city) and +- 31 °C for Velez-Malaga. A glance into our weather crystal ball indicates that there might be some precipitation on October 15. Until then, wonderful late-summer days lie ahead of the Costa del Sol.
