Spain - Passenger figures of July 2019

Malaga gains again, Mallorca with a light minus

Malaga Airport reports another growth of airline passengers in July 2019. A total of 2,228,460 passengers were welcomed which is a plus of 3,8 % compared to July 2018.

From January to July 2019, a total of 11,443,706 passengers were counted which is a plus of 5,9 % compared to the same period of time in 2018.

Malaga ranks 4th among Spain's most frequented airports. Madrid leads, followed by Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.

Here, the July figures of 2019 for the remaining Andalusian airports (compared to July 2018):

Sevilla - 641,333 passengers +20,5 %
Jerez de la Frontera - 128,666 passengers -3,3 %
Almeria - 134,018 passengers -1,1 %
Granada - 110,835 passengers +14,4 %

Here, the passenger figures of July 2019 for other Spanish airports (compared to July 2018):

Palma de Mallorca - 4,207,218 passengers -0,6 %
Alicante - 1,721,537 passengers +7,7 %
Valencia - 858,784 passengers +8,5 %
Gran Canaria - 1,068,941 passengers -4,4 %
Tenerife-Sur - 891,912 passengers +0,1 %
Lanzarote - 649,112 passengers -2,4 %
Fuerteventura - 504,911 passengers -9,5 %

888,581 British passengers were welcomed on Mallorca in July. Malaga Airport welcomed 667,814 British passengers.
