Malaga - Passenger figures of May 2019

Malaga with a significant plus again

Malaga Airport reports another impressive growth of airline passengers in May 2019. A total of 1,914,220 passengers were welcomed which is a plus of 4,2 % compared to May 2018.

From January to May 2019, a total of 7,160,540 passengers were counted which is a plus of 6,4 % compared to the same period of time in 2018.

Malaga ranks 4th among Spain's most frequented airports. Madrid leads, followed by Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.

Sevilla - 685,045 passengers +19,6 %
Jerez de la Frontera - 124,043 passengers +2,2 %
Almeria - 102,299 passengers -3,4 %
Granada - 108,102 passengers +12,3 %

Palma de Mallorca - 3,181,572 passengers +0,9 %
Alicante - 1,402,153 passengers +7,2 %
Valencia - 747,031 passengers +9,6 %

Lanzarote - 567,687 passengers -0,4 %
Fuerteventura - 412,778 passengers -11,2 %
