More than 30 °C from Andalusia to Valencia

Storm on the Canary Islands

On yesterday's Wednesday, El Granado (province of Huelva, Andalusia) was the warmest place in Spain with 32,2 °C. Xativa obtained 29,3 °C in the autonomy of Valencia. Binissalem reported 27,0 °C on the Balearic Islands and La Aldea de San Nicolas registered 27,4 °C on the Canary Islands. Montanejos (province of Castellon, Valencia) measured the most precipitation with 3,0 l/m² of rain.

The Spanish mainland on Thursday: At 06:00 am, Madrid reports 12,6 °C, Santander 12,5 °C, Bilbao 11,6 °C, Valencia 14,2 °C, Almeria 17,4 °C, Barcelona 14,3 °C, Alicante 14,0 °C, Sevilla 16,7 °C and Granada 10,5 °C.

A band of clouds is slowly moving from north-west to east ensuring a mix of sun and clouds. Some rain will be falling in the north-east of the country towards the evening, light thunderstorms have been announced between Tarragona and Zaragoza. Navarra is expecting noteworthy precipitation towards midnight. It will be hot in the hinterland of Andalusia and along the coast of Valencia, +- 34 °C have been announced.

Today's peak values amount 21 °C in Barcelona, 29 °C in Madrid, 22 °C in Bilbao, 18 °C in Santander, 26 °C in Alicante, 26 °C in Valencia, 33 °C in Sevilla, 32 °C in Murcia, 27 °C in Girona and 21 °C in Santiago de Compostela.

The Balearic Islands on Thursday: Palma de Mallorca reports 9,8 °C at 06:00 am. Mostly sunny today. A few clouds will pull up from west towards the afternoon. The peak temperatures amount 25 °C in Palma de Mallorca, 24 °C in Mao-Mahon and 24 °C in Eivissa.

The Canary Islands on Thursday: Tenerife Sur Airport registers 18,7 °C at 05:00 am. Again, typical Canary Islands weather. Clouds in the north of the islands and almost cloudless in the south. It is stormy (coming from northern direction) at the east and west coast of Gran Canaria and at Tenerife's altitudes, up to 90 km/h are measured. The buoy of Las Palmas reports a maximum wave height of 258 cm. The peak temperatures will reach +- 26 °C today.

Costa del Sol on Thursday

At 06:00 am, Malaga (Playa La Malagueta) reports 15,7 °C and an air humidity of 71 %. Malaga's buoy registers a sea temperature of 17,2 °C and the waves are reaching heights of 15 cm.

At 06:00 am, Malaga Airport reports 14,8 °C and the wind is blowing with 16,0 km/h across the runways.

Ronda reported 15,9 °C, Torrox 19,2 °C, Sierra de Mijas 14,7 °C and Torremolinos registered 16,5 °C at 06:00 am.

Mostly sunny and warm today. A few cirrostratus clouds will appear occasionally. The UV index reads 9 today.

+- 26 °C have been forecasted for Marbella, +- 27 °C for Malaga (city), +- 27 °C for Manilva and +- 29 °C for Velez-Malaga. The Caminito del Rey is expecting +- 31 °C today.
