Gran Canaria expecting early-summer temperatures

Windstorm pulling up in Galicia

On yesterday's Friday, Motril (Andalusia) was the warmest place in Spain with 24,7 °C. Xativa registered 23,3 °C in the autonomy of Valencia. Pollenca reported 18,6 °C on the Balearic Islands and Vallehermoso obtained 22,8 °C on the Canary Islands. Rois (Galicia) measured the most precipitation with 36,8 l/m² of rain.

The Spanish mainland on Saturday: At 06:00 am, Madrid reports 0,1 °C, Girona 3,7 °C, Santander 7,1 °C, Valencia 6,6 °C, Almeria 11,1 °C, Barcelona 7,4 °C, Alicante 8,4 °C, Sevilla 5,2 °C and Granada -0,9 °C.

It will be rainy in Galicia all day long. A storm will pull up this morning and will turn into a windstorm tonight. It will also be stormy at the North Atlantic coast this afternoon. It is still cloudy between Castellon and Girona this morning. Later, there will be more sun than clouds. Thick fog is covering some areas of Cadiz and Almeria this morning, but will dissolve as of noon. It will be mostly sunny in the south and south-east of Spain today. Murcia and the coastline of Valencia are expecting mild +- 23 °C again.

Today's peak values amount 17 °C in Barcelona, 14 °C in Madrid, 17 °C in Santander, 19 °C in Alicante, 19 °C in Valencia, 19 °C in Sevilla, 19 °C in Girona and 13 °C in Santiago de Compostela.

The Balearic Islands on Saturday: Palma de Mallorca reports 7,8 °C at 06:00 am. It is foggy in large parts of Mallorca this morning. There will be a mix of sun and clouds on the Balearic Islands today. The peak temperatures amount 18 °C in Palma de Mallorca, 16 °C in Mao-Mahon and 17 °C in Eivissa.

The Canary Islands on Saturday: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria registers 14,5 °C at 05:00 am. It will be mostly sunny today, the start of a few early-summer days. It will be quite warm especially in the south of Gran Canaria. The peak temperatures amount +- 24 °C today and +- 28 °C on Sunday.

Costa del Sol on Saturday

At 06:00 am, Malaga (Playa La Malagueta) reports 10,4 °C and an air humidity of 65 %. Malaga's buoy registers a sea temperature of 14,4 °C and the waves are reaching heights of 16 cm.

At 06:00 am, Malaga Airport reports 6,7 °C and the wind is blowing with 12,0 km/h across the runways.

Los Reales reported 5,7 °C, Torrox 11,6 °C and La Viñuela registered 6,2 °C at 06:00 am.

In general, it will be sunny today. However, there might be some misty or even foggy segments.

+- 18 °C have been forecasted for Marbella, +- 19 °C for Malaga (city), +- 20 °C for Manilva and +- 20 °C for Velez-Malaga. The Caminito del Rey is expecting +- 21 °C.

Tendency for the following days: Mostly sunny at +- 20 °C on Sunday and Monday. Fresh and cloudy again on Tuesday with +- 17 °C.
