Murcia is fighting frost damages

On yesterday's Friday, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) was the warmest place in Spain with 23,1 °C. Alicante registered 14,1 °C in the autonomy of Valencia and Motril obtained 17,5 °C in Andalusia. Formentera reported 12,3 °C on the Balearic Islands. Sant Antoni (Balearic Islands) measured the most precipitation with 7,2 l/m² of rain.

The Spanish mainland on Saturday: At 06:00 am, Madrid reports -3,2 °C, Girona -4,0 °C, Bilbao 5,5 °C, Valencia -0,6 °C, Almeria 5,5 °C, Barcelona 2,7 °C, Alicante 3,1 °C, Sevilla 6,0 °C and Sierra Nevada's observatory -5,5 °C.

Again, it is extremely cold at breakfast time. Peak temperatures of only +- 17 °C have been announced for today. There will be more clouds than sun and some rain at the North Atlantic coast today, snow has been forecasted at altitudes of 1,000 metres. Other than that, it will be mostly sunny and dry on the mainland. A storm will take place in Girona, Tarragona, Castellon, Zaragoza and Navarra. The buoy is reporting wave heights of 594 cm off the coast of Girona. It will get stormier around Tarifa throughout the morning, gusts of 65 km/h have been announced.

Today's peak values amount 14 °C in Barcelona, 11 °C in Madrid, 12 °C in Bilbao, 15 °C in Alicante, 16 °C in Valencia, 15 °C in Sevilla, 14 °C in Girona and 13 °C in Santiago de Compostela.

The Balearic Islands on Saturday: Palma de Mallorca reports 1,9 °C at 06:00 am. It will be cloudy on Menorca and Mallorca this morning, a few drops of rain will fall occasionally. It will be mostly sunny as of noon. The storm will turn eastwards during the course of the day. The waves are reaching heights of 484 cm off the east coast of Menorca. The peak temperatures amount 14 °C in Palma de Mallorca, 13 °C in Mao-Mahon and 14 °C in Eivissa.

The Canary Islands on Saturday: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria registers 16,7 °C at 05:00 am. A band of clouds (from SW) will cross the archipelago today ensuring a mix of sun and clouds. In the afternoon, the wind will freshen up in the north of Tenerife for a short period of time. Gusts of 50 km/h have been announced. The peak temperatures amount +- 22 °C.

Costa del Sol on Saturday

At 06:00 am, Malaga (Playa La Malagueta) reports 10,3 °C and an air humidity of 65 %. Malaga's buoy registers a sea temperature of 15,6 °C and the waves are reaching heights of 52 cm.

At 06:00 am, Malaga Airport reports 6,1 °C and the wind is blowing with 13,0 km/h across the runways.

Los Reales reported 0,9 °C, Torrox 8,3 °C and Ronda registered 3,8 °C at 06:00 am.

A few clouds are still covering the west of the Costa del Sol this morning. Other than that, there will be more sun than clouds today. A moderate breeze will be blowing across the coast between noon and afternoon.

+- 16 °C have been forecasted for Marbella, +- 15 °C for Malaga (city), +- 15 °C for Manilva and +- 17 °C for Velez-Malaga. The Caminito del Rey is expecting +- 15 °C.

Tendency for the following days: Sunny at maximally +- 17 °C on Sunday. Sunny at +- 21 °C on Monday. A few clouds at 17 °C on Tuesday.
