Saint Nicholas ensures up to 25 °C in Andalusia today

Canary Islands will enjoy +- 27 °C

On yesterday's Wednesday, Tenerife Sur Airport (Canary Islands) was the warmest place in Spain with 27,7 °C in the shade. Carcaixent registered 25,6 °C in the autonomy of Valencia and Baeza (Jaen) obtained 27,3 °C in Andalusia. Pollenca reported 23,3 °C on the Balearic Islands. Pontevedra (Galicia) measured the most precipitation with 11,6 l/m² of rain.

The Spanish mainland on Thursday: At 06:00 am, Madrid reports 2,5 °C, Girona 8,6 °C, Bilbao 12,2 °C, Valencia 7,1 °C, Almeria 9,9 °C, Barcelona 10,1 °C, Alicante --,- °C, Sevilla 10,6 °C and Lanjaron 9,1 °C.

Again, it will be foggy at the river areas in the centre and north of Spain at first, the fog will be partly dense. A yellow warning level has been issued for some provinces, the range of vision lies below 100 metres. Fog can appear at some coasts as well, since fog banks are covering the Alboran Sea (off Murcia and off Denia) this morning. During the course of the day, it will be mostly sunny and only slightly cloudy throughout Spain. It will be stormy in Tarragona and Girona today, gusts of 75 km/h have been announced. Apparently, it will be the warmest in the Andalusian provinces of Cadiz, Huelva and Malaga today expecting peak temperatures of sunny +- 25 °C.

Today's peak values amount 17 °C in Barcelona, 14 °C in Madrid, 17 °C in Bilbao, 21 °C in Alicante, 22 °C in Valencia, 23 °C in Sevilla, 17 °C in Girona and 14 °C in Santiago de Compostela.

The Balearic Islands on Thursday: Palma de Mallorca reports 7,0 °C at 06:00 am. Fog might appear this morning. Other than that, it will be mostly sunny today. Only a few clouds will pull up occasionally. The peak temperatures amount 20 °C in Palma de Mallorca, 20 °C in Mao-Mahon and 20 °C in Eivissa.

The Canary Islands on Thursday: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria registers 19,7 °C at 05:00 am. A stormy wind is still blowing across the islands this morning, but will calm down towards the afternoon. There will be a mix of sun and clouds today, a few drops of rain might fall on La Palma. It will be the sunniest on Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. In addition, it will be wonderfully warm with peak temperatures of +- 27 °C.

Costa del Sol on Thursday

At 06:00 am, Malaga (Playa La Malagueta) reports 12,6 °C and an air humidity of 74 %. Malaga's buoy registers a sea temperature of 16,4 °C and the waves are reaching heights of 14 cm.

At 06:00 am, Malaga Airport reports 10,0 °C and the wind is blowing with gusts of 13,0 km/h across the runways.

Los Reales reported 13,2 °C, Torrox 16,4 °C and La Viñuela registered 11,6 °C at 06:00 am.

It might be foggy at sunrise. In general, it will be sunny and mild today, though it could get slightly misty in the afternoon.

+- 20 °C have been forecasted for Marbella, +- 22 °C for Malaga (city), +- 21 °C for Manilva and +- 23 °C for Velez-Malaga. The Caminito del Rey is expecting +- 25 °C.

Tendency for the following days: No big changes in sight until Monday.
