Malaga Airport with new historic record in 2017

Malaga Airport reports another record in December 2017. A total of 999,246 passengers were attended which is a plus of 9,5 % compared to December 2016.

From January to December 2017, a total of 18,628,876 passengers were counted in Malaga, a plus of 11,7 %. This year's result is a historic record for Malaga.
Malaga ranks 4th among Spain's most frequented airports. Madrid takes the lead, followed by Barcelona and Mallorca.
Even the other Andalusian airports are enjoying the tourism boom and historic records.

Here, the figures for January to December 2017:

Seville - 5,108,807 passengers + 10,5 %

Jerez de la Frontera - 1,046,251 passengers + 14,1 %

Almeria - 1,007,446 passengers + 9,5 %

Granada - 901,961 passengers + 20,1 %
